K-Swiss vs. The World Dominance in 70.3
Over the past 6 months I have begun to notice the K-Swiss dominance of Ironman events, in particular Ironman 70.3 events. I thought to myself, could K-Swiss take on the world? My answer, heck yeah they could! I decided to put my hypothesis to the test. The experiment is called K-Swiss vs. The World, Ironman 70.3 dominance. I laid out the team rosters as follows. Team K-Swiss includes all K-Swiss sponsored professionals as well as members of the K-Swiss/Trek Team. The World team gets everyone else. The coring criteria are as follows:
- Any race without participants in the Male Pro, Female Pro or both does not count towards the scoring because the team didn’t have representation. Events pertaining to this rule are highlighted in “red” on the scoreboard.
- The only events that are scored are events that are part of the Ironman 70.3 series
- In all events only the top 3 males and females are scored as follows:
1st place= 5pts
2nd place= 3pts
3rd place=1pt
- Scoring for the Foster Grant Ironman 70.3 World Championship 70.3 will be scored 10places deep with the following scoring
1st place = 20pts
2nd place= 12pts
3rd place = 10pts
4th place = 8pts
5th place = 6pts
6th place = 5pts
7th place = 4pts
8th place = 3pts
9th place = 2pts
10th place= 1pt
