CDifferentwithAaron Road to Rio Comes to Seattle!

My Road to Rio for the 2016 Paralympics is just beginning and I am kicking it off in Seattle on Thursday April 10th 6-9pm PST. The event will take place at one of Seattle's great venues Aquabar , in the heart of downtown's Belltown district.  The main purpose of the event is to raise money for the United States Association for Blind Athletes UUSABA) and promote my CDifferentwithAaron movement.

USABA is a federally recognized 501 C3 (Tax ID: 31-0977121 ) non-profit with the mission of providing opportunities for those in the blind/VI community to participate and realize their potential in athletics and in this world.  My own personal movement, CDifferentwithAaron, strives to change society's perception of the blind/visually impaired community.  CDifferentwithAaron challenges everyone to look at the world differently.

"If you change your attitude you will change your world and if you allow yourself to view the blind/VI community differently you will discover so much more potential in this world."

                                                                                                                -- Aaron Scheidies

This event has a great purpose, but will also be very fun and exciting.  The event will feature live music from one of Seattle's well known bands, Two Buck Chuck, who will play some of music's greatest hits in their own unique style. The event will also include a silent auction with a variety of items from weekend getaways to his and her personal training programs to sporting merchandise from the world's greatest athletes.

Haven't joined CDWA Nation? If you haven't already joined CDWA Nation and purchased some of the apparel that I use to support my movement you will be able to do so at this event.  CDWA Apparel, including the most recent special edition Boston Strong Eye Chart shirt will be available at this event along with other CDWA merchandise.  This apparel has skyrocketed in popularity and you are sure to get comments about this unique stuff where ever you go around the world.

If you are able to make this breakthrough event be sure to bring some friends or family.  AquaBar is a 21+ establishment so be aware of this when asking those under the age of 21.  Be sure to go with VIP entry over general as you will come home with a whole bag of free swag and goodies.  The date is not far away so reserve your tickets today.  You can do this by sending the money via PayPal to my account CDifferentwithAaron@gmail.com and in the memo box  writing the names for whom the tickets are for and CDWA Event.  Also, if you are unable to make the event but would like to help support the event and donate to my fundraising efforts towards USABA you can do so by going to my USABA donation page HERE.

Your support is an instrumental factor in giving at least one more blind/VI individual the opportunity to realize their potential  in sport and in life.  Just like in a marathon, you don't complete the race in one step, it takes hundreds of thousands of little steps to conquer something big.  Changing society's perception on the blind/VI community is an enormous task but  your support is an essential step in this marathon journey and I hope you will team up with me to do this.
